Celeste Clark Jenkins' Obituary
Mrs. Celeste Clark Jenkins, 50, (Air Personality MIX 107.3) of Leesburg, Virginia, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at her home in Leesburg, after a long battle with cancer.
Born on May 27, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington. She was a daughter of Bryan E. Clark and Josephine (Deodato) Clark of Las Angeles, CA. Celeste was a Radio Air Personality and #1 female Disc Jockey with Mix 107.3 radio station for twenty years. She and her family have been residents of Loudoun for 18 years. She was a member of St. John''s.
She is also survived by her husband Mr. Jeffrey Lee Jenkins of Leesburg; Two Sons, Eric Philip Jenkins and Christopher Clark Jenkins both of Leesburg, VA;
One Sister, Kathleen (Clark) Whyte of Las Angeles, CA; Two Brothers, Marc Clark of Yorktown Heights, NY, and Liam Edmund Clark of Las Angeles, CA; plus numerous other family and friends. Celeste was predeceased by a brother Chester Bryan Clark.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2006. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John''s Catholic Church/ Old Church, at the corner of King and Cornwall Street, Leesburg, VA, at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2006, Father John Mosimann officiating.
Interment to be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Celeste''s memory to The Susan Cohan Kasdas Colon Cancer Foundation, Americas 911 Foundation.org, or the Loudoun Habitat for Humanity.
