Charles D. Bias' Obituary
Charles D. Bias passed has away peacefully.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pauline. He also leaves his daughter: Claudia Karlin; two sons: Philip Bias and Dr. Mason Bias; two daughters-in-law: Michelle Bias and Suzanne Bias; and six grandchildren: Jennifer Karlin, Charles, Emma, Caroline, William, and Katherine Bias. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles M. Bias.
After serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII, he earned his B.S. and PhD. degrees from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin.
Charles resided in Webster Groves, MO for over 40 years, where he worked as a research chemist at Monsanto.
Following retirement, Charles served as pharmacist at Grace Hill Health Centers in St. Louis, MO. For the past 15 years he has called Lansdowne Woods his home.
A memorial service will be held at the Blue Ridge Condominium Social Room on September 10, 2016 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Charles may be made to The Chapel at Lansdowne Woods, (a worshipping congregation of Galilee Church), 19375 Magnolia Grove Sq., Lansdowne, VA 20176 (703) 723-1501.
