Charles Julius Cooper's Obituary
Mr. Charles Julius Cooper, age 87 of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012.
Charles was born on July 6, 1925 in Lovettsville, VA. He was the youngest of six children of the late
Keeler Robert Cooper and Mary Winifred Lynn Cooper. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased
by his five siblings Thurston Cooper, Virginia Frye, Louise Garrett, Robert Cooper, Sylvester Cooper.
A Loudoun native, Charles attended school in Lovettsville and began work at a young age. He worked as Head Dairyman for Dorothy C. Chamblin for 25 years.
He worked as Head Custodian at Park View High School until retiring in 1993.
Mr. Cooper leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 64 years, Katherine A. Coffman Cooper of Leesburg, and their only son, Dr. Donald Glen Cooper of Leesburg, VA.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at the Loudoun Funeral
Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA.
Interment will be held privately at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Lovettsville, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Cooper’s memory to the American Diabetes
Association 1025 Connecticut Ave., NW, Suite 5 Washington, DC 20036.
