Charles Huber's Obituary
Charles Henry Huber, 87 passed on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Thursday, February 16, 1928 in Olney, Illinois, he was a son of the late Godfrey Huber and Helen Hitch Huber. Charles’ wife of 62 years, Patricia Huber, predeceased him in 2011. He was also predeceased by a daughter Sandra Susan Huber and by 3 of his siblings, Stephen Huber, Julia Huber Becker and Patricia Huber Laymon.
Charles was a graduate of Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and earned a Masters Degree in Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He served his country in the US Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. His passion for aviation and dedication to his country led him to continue his service working with NASA as an Aerospace Engineer for more than 35 years.
He leaves his children to cherish his memory, daughter, Janis Ann Ackerman of Reston, VA, and son, David Charles Huber of Midland, VA; a brother, Robert Huber Sr., 2 grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and Interment was held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
