Charles Johnson's Obituary
Charles Randolph Johnson, 72, life long of Loudoun, died Monday, May 22, 2006, at his home. Born on April 10, 1934 in Leesburg, VA, He was son of the late Jessie Thomas Johnson and the late Millicent Madora (Shugars) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson had many jobs including Reniari Shoe Shop in the late 50''s and early 60''s, the Avalon Hotel in Dallas, TX in the 1970''s the Loudoun Home Center, and the Tally Ho Theater in the 1980''s. The majority of his working life he was an Optometry Technician and made contact lenses. Mr. Johnson was also a member and Past Pres. of the Eagles Brunswick Aerie #1136. Mr. Johnson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Doris L. Johnson of Leesburg, his son John W. Johnson and his wife Mitsy of Ashburn, VA, and a daughter-in-law-Kelly Johnson of Berryville, Virginia his Sister, Jo Ann Pigge of Stafford, Virginia, his Brother-David W. Myers of Berryville, Virginia, Four grandchildren, Six great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Mr. Johnson was predeceased by three brothers and one sister: Alfred Johnson, Lucille Myers, Aubrey Myers, and James Myers.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2006 and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Loudoun Funeral Chapels at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 25, 2006, Pastor Mickey Creed
Pastor Stuart James, and Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia
