OBITUARY INFORMATION
MR. CHARLES LEIGHTON LOY, 77, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, formerly of Lovettsville, Virginia died suddenly on Friday February 24, 2006 in Taylorstown, VA..
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Shirley Marie McDevitt Loy, Bunker Hill, WV; three daughters: Margie Miller of Leesburg, VA, Polly and Alice Loy of Salineville, OH; grandson: Matthew Miller; Stepsons: Skip and Johnny Shirley, Roy Bradford; Step daughters: Barbara Painter and Teresa Lynn Miller; Brother: Harry Loy of Lovettsville, VA; two sisters: Betty Tompkins and Mary Roberson of Lovettsville, VA, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Friends may call at the Brown/ Loudoun Funeral Chapel 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA on Tuesday February 28, 2006 from 6-9 pm were the family will be present to greet friends.
Burial will be private on Saturday March 4, 2006 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Taylorstown, VA.
Mr. Loy was born December 20, 1928 in Lucketts, Va to the late Leighton William Loy and Hattie Beatrice Stream Loy. He was employed by McKimmey’s Feed Store, Norvel Lowry and Daniel Fleming of Lovettsville, VA, and Frank Smith of Knoxville, MD over the years.
