Charles Ross McClay, Jr. 67 of Hamilton. Virginia passed away on April 17, 2025, in the Poets’ Walk Memory Care Facility in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born December 22, 1957, in Maryland to Dorothy M. Scott and Charles R. McClay, Sr. Charles McClay, Jr. was a unionized commercial electrician for over 30 years. He was an avid bowler, and a steel tip dart player, with passion for bass fishing. Charles “Chuck” McClay, Jr. was known by many nicknames Chuck, BillyGoat, or just Goat by his many grandchildren. He was survived by his 1st wife Lisa McClay with whom he had 2 children Dani McClay and Charles R McClay, III. and his grandson, Conor. Chuck was also survived by his 2nd wife Canna Caminos-McClay and his 2 stepchildren Ryan Beringer and Haley Beringer. From this marriage, he acquired 4 step grandchildren, Bella, Xavi, Ryleigh, and Alowynne.
