CHARLES RICHARD MURRAY's Obituary
Charles Richard Murray, or Charlie as we all called him, 67 years of age, of Leesburg, Virginia passed on Thursday March 16,2023. Born Friday, September 16, 1955, in Loudoun County, VA; a son of the late Charles Whiting and the late Emily Murray.
Charlie last worked for Loudoun Valley Flooring for about 15years. Although, he had worked with them in other work setting equaling 30 years.
He leaves his family and friends to cherish his memories including his son Brock Bell of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; his daughter Wanza Bell of Leesburg, VA; his grandchildren, Octavia,Sailor, Destiny, Royalty, Kyra, Fatima and Tony, his sisters, Brenda Brent of Leesburg, VA, Charlotte Gray of Leesburg, VA, Corrine Smith of Woodbridge, VA, Patricia Murray of Washington, DC; Linda Whiting of Winchester, VA, brothers, Michael Whiting of Winchester, VA, Richard Whiting of Winchester, VA; and the LOVE of his life for over thirty years, Patricia Lee, of Leesburg, VA.
He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. One in particular is our cousin Henry, affectionally called Bucky. He and Charlie, were together so much, one would think they were joined at the hips. Charlie always said, I got get Bucky to help me out. He truly appreciated the friendship that he and his first cousin had.
Charlie was a person who loved to laugh and make others laugh. No matter how serious a situation was, as soon as you looked at him, he would change it to something humorous so he could make you feel better, even if it was just for the moment.
The family would like to thank each and everyone of you for your kindness, generosity and especially the love that you showed toward us all. May you take comfort in knowing that, the sting of death will pass and one day no one will have to experience death anymore.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia .
Funeral services will follow the viewing at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
