Charles W. McIntosh's Obituary
Mr. Charles W. McIntosh, 80, of Aldie, VA, died Monday, November 23, 2009, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Lansdowne, VA.
Charles was born on April 23, 1929 in Aldie, VA.
He was a son of the late Cecil McIntosh and the late Mae Smith McIntosh. Mr. McIntosh was a life long farmer of livestock. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War stationed in Alaska.
Mr. McIntosh worked for Briggs & Co., for 22 years as a warehouse supervisor.
More recently, he was employed by Loudoun County Parks and Recreation at the Arcola Community Center.
Charles was predeceased by his wife Barbara June McIntosh in June of 2002.
He is survived by four children: Charles S. McIntosh and wife Shirley of Aldie, VA, Jeffrey B. McIntosh, Aldie, VA, Teri Jackson and husband David of Leesburg, VA, and Michael McIntosh, Boyce, VA.
He is also survived by a sister, Louise Grimes, of Leesburg, VA; and seven Grandchildren: Michael Lewis, Jason (Wendy), Dustin Curtis, Joey, Crystal (Jon) Deason, Katie McIntosh, Juddson Jackson.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm and where funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 29, 2009, Pastor Jesse Parker officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
