Cheryl Louise (Olson) Fleming's Obituary
Cheryl Louise (Olson) Fleming, born on December 12, 1966, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a 1984 graduate of Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, PA where she was a swimmer and a clarinet player. In 1988, Cheryl earned a bachelor's degree in business accounting from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and was a founding member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority.
Cheryl was the devoted mother of Kylie Fleming and Kayla Fleming, who were the light of her life. She loved to support her children in anything they wanted to do including soccer, bowling, and moving around the country when they became adults. Cheryl equally loved her “furry children,” Morgan and Deena. Both dogs were adopted from Save The Tails LLC, where she also volunteered for adoption events. Her strength and love for friends and family were evident in every moment she shared with them.
Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Kylie and Kayla Fleming, and her mother Nancy Olson. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her. May her legacy of resilience and love bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Save the Tails or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
A memorial visitation for Cheryl will be held on Saturday January 18th, 2025, from 2-5pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
