To the entire Chester A. Kmak, Jr. Family:
Chester was a very good man and a great brother. He was exceptionally hard working often holding 2-3 part time jobs while in high school. I don’t think Dad or Mom ever knew where he was at any given time, but they surely trusted him. Remembering him in high school, he often came to school with flour all over his pants as he worked the early hours in a bakery, and he smelled like a sugar cookie! His classmates would just laugh. And, he loved working on cars or any type of machinery. He didn’t care if he had flour or grease on him. That was just Chester.
Chester really enjoyed the music of the 60’s and 70’s. And, he was good about sharing his 8 track tapes with the younger members of the family. One thing he knew was how to share and how to be a giving person. He also loved Dairy Queen!! He should’ve gotten himself a franchise. That’s how much he liked it.
Chester was a very mild mannered guy — very quiet. However, when he got into the mood, he would talk your ear off. I remember many a time being on the phone with him for almost 2 hours with him carrying on the conversation. He often spoke of his grandchildren William and Brooke. He loved both of them dearly.
Yes, Chester was a good guy. I will totally miss him. May he always rest in peace.
His loving sister— Fran.
