Christa "Chris" H. Ferguson, age 69, of Leesburg, VA, died on Thurs., Dec. 31, 2009. Born Jan. 27, 1940 in Berlin, Germany to the late Erich & Elfrieda (nee: Zota) Lubian. In 1948, at the age of 8, Chris accompanied her mother to Arlington County, Virginia where they established residence. Chris attended Washington-Lee High School, then began her career as a secretary until she retired in 2006.
Chris was the first wife of James E. Ferguson, previously of Loudoun County, VA, who passed away in Nov. 2005. She is survived by her sister, Vera Platzek (Jurgen) of Berlin, Germany; children: Susan C. Ferguson-Pearson, Julie E. Ferguson-Rogers and son: Jimi V. Ferguson, all of Loudoun County; Niece: Gabi Schultz (John) of Berlin, Germany; Granddaughters: Crystal Ferguson, Jessarae Rogers, Amber Rogers and Heaven Ferguson; Great-Niece: Romy Schultz, and Great-Nephew: Robin Schultz.
