Christine "Chris" Armstrong Larkins' Obituary
Christine “Chris” Armstrong Larkins, 76, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013.
She was born on June 25, 1937 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Lyle Armstrong and Margaret Czeizinger Armstrong.
Chris was a 1956 graduate of the Washington Business College. She was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church for the past five years during which she was active in the ESL (English as a Second Language) Program, where she was dearly loved by her students. She also served on the Susanna Wesley and Sunshine Circles, as well as the Love Committee. Chris was a quilter, painter and loved making handmade crafts for all of her friends and family members.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Wayne; daughters, Sherri Clifton and her husband, David, Suzanne Larkins and Aimee Miller and her husband, John; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Bivins and Yvonne Greenawalt.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Leesburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Wishmyer officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Leesburg United Methodist Church, ESL Program, 107 West Market Street Leesburg, VA 20175.
