Christopher Wardell's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Wardell, who died at the age of 78 on August 21, 2024, in Lansdowne, VA.
Christopher was a proud mining engineer for the World Bank, with a passion for traveling the world. He had a love for cars and golf, and was well-known for his quick British wit and wonderful sense of humor.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Hilary; his son, Richard, wife Andrea, and their children Mady and Bradley; as well his daughter Lucy, husband Partrick, and their children, Emma, Mika, and Max.
The funeral will be a private ceremony, held in the presence of close family to remember and honor Christopher’s life.
