Clara Judy Huffman's Obituary
Clara Judy Huffman, 86, of Lansdowne, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Born on April 10, 1939, in Washington D.C..; one of 3 children of the late Florence and Gervaise Neale. She graduated from Coolidge High School in Washington, D.C. She was a resident of Loudoun County for 53 years. She spent 28 years in Sterling and the remaining 25 years at Leisure World\Lansdowne Woods.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Norman “Red” “Ken” Huffman of 47 years; her brothers, Burt Neale and Ernest Nelson Wyrick.
She is survived by her 3 children, Thomas Huffman, Norman Huffman II., Donald Huffman and his wife, Victoria. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Fallon Huffman.
Her family and her faith were the joy and focus of her life. Her hobbies included playing cards, dancing, and crocheting.
Judy spent her career working for the U.S. government as a Human Resource Specialist for the U.S. Geological Survey in Reston, VA. The focus of her position was employee benefits, awards, and retirements. She retired in 1998.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA. Friends may call again on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 at the Fredlock and Fenner Funeral Home, 567 Thomas Avenue, Davis WV, from 2:00 PM until time of service at 2:30 PM. Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Interment Rose Hill Cemetery, Thomas, WV.
