Clifford Henry Fenton III's Obituary
Clifford Henry Fenton III, 55, was born on July 31, 1959 in New York, NY. He spent the most recent years of his life in Sterling, VA. Clifford passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015.
Clifford, affectionately referred to as “Henry” by family members and “Cliff” by friends, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University in 1983. Clifford worked as an IT Program Manager at Dowless & Associates for the past ten years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending precious moments with his family. As a young adult he gave back to his community by volunteering at youth camps, basketball camps and was a track and field star.
Clifford is survived by his wife of over twenty-five years, Lonzenia (Loni) Fenton. He is also survived by two beloved daughters, Ashley and Alexis Fenton of Sterling, VA; his parents, Clifford and Jean Fenton of Stone Mountain, GA; his sisters, Cheryl Fenton of New York, NY and Pamela Epps of Avondale Estates, GA; his niece Aliya Epps of Avondale Estates, GA; an uncle, Harry Quinton of Williamsburg, VA and a host of other family members and friends.
Clifford is preceded in death by his mother, Creola A. Fenton, paternal grandfather Clifford Fenton, and maternal grandfather Henry Green
Funeral service began at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175 with the Pastor Chad Carlton officiating.
The family received friends one hour prior to the funeral, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately.
