Concepcion Dolino Cayetano's Obituary
Concepcion “Connie” Dolino Cayetano, 81, of Ashburn, VA was called home to heaven on July 10th, 2019.
Connie was born in the Philippines on December 8th, 1937. She met the love of her life, Leonardo Cayetano in 1958. They married in January, 1961, and moved to the US in 1967. Connie and Leonardo settled in the DC area and their lifelong love affair lasted for 61 years.
Connie was an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, and an avid contributor of the MGM Slots Community, which was near and dear to her heart. Although she worked for Hilton in her younger years and retired early, she was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She always put the needs of others before her own and excelled at cooking for large groups of people, mainly her family and friends. It was common in Connie's home to be offered a second lunch or second dinner. She made sure you never left her home hungry.
Connie was a beautiful woman with a smile that would brighten any room and had an infectious laugh. She had a fun personality, loving spirit, and generous heart. She was an expert in the art of patience always being the coolest and calmest in the room. She was loved by anyone that knew her and touched the lives of many with her gentleness and quiet, kind soul.
Connie loved her children dearly and was extremely proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She learned how to use Facebook to keep tabs on all of them and mastered the demands of modern day social media. Her life will forever be celebrated through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her children: Lynn, George, Julie, Joseph and Josie; Grandchildren: Christal, Angela, Robert, Jennifer, Ciara, Leo, Kayla, Kara, Heather, Brandi, Mike, Ryan, Riley, Jay, Alicia and Ivana; and Great-Grandchildren: Danaka, Layla, Jayden, Adrian, Soliana, Finleigh, Logan, Madison, Owen, Brooks, Donald and Asia. Brother: Jose Dolino, Niece: Analiza Deguzman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, May, and great-grandson, Bradley.
