Corine Virginia George, 83 of Bunker Hill, West Virginia passed on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Winchester, VA.
Corine was born Monday, August 31, 1931 in Lovettsville, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Elwood Rust and the late Ruth Everhart Rust. Mrs. George was raised in Lovettsville and graduated from Lovettsville High School. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church. Corine is predeceased by her first husband Robert Shewbridge.
In 1989, she married Charles George in Winchester, VA.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Patti Hershey and son-in-law David of Winchester, VA, Ronald and Warren Shewbridge both of Bunker Hill, WV.
A Funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175 with the Rev. Roland England officiating.
Interment was held in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
The family received friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia.
