Curtis Miller's Obituary
Curtis W. Miller, 70, a resident of Nags Head, NC, died on Friday November 10, 2006 in Leesburg, VA.
Mr. Miller was born August 30, 1936 in Great Falls, VA to the late Curtis William and Ruby Conner Miller. He is a 1955 graduate of Herndon High School. Mr. Miller was a craftsman carpenter over the years and worked with the Fairfax County Fire Department from 1961 until his retirement as Battalion Chief in 1986. He was the founding member of the STOP-N-SHOP Hot liners Fishing Team and a member of the Nags Head Surf Fishing Club and the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association.
Mr. Miller is survived by one son: Mitchell and Peggy Miller of Montana; one daughter: Cam and Ricky Lucas Sr. of Stanley, VA; one brother: Butch Miller of Burgess, VA; three sisters: Linda Casciano of Leesburg, VA, Bonnie Bolick of Leesburg, VA, Becky Miller of Saltillo, Mississippi; ten nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday December 2, 2006 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA with Rev. Marion Paul White officiating. Followed by a Celebration Of Life Service on December 9, 2006 in Nags Head, NC on the beach.
