Cynthia Ann Shaffer's Obituary
Cynthia Ann Shaffer, “Cookie” age 48 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Cynthia was born Sunday, October 18, 1964 in Willingboro, New Jersey. She was a daughter of Nicholas Gravino of Annapolis, MD, and Marlene Dietrich Gravino of Mechanicsburg, PA.
She is also survived by her loving husband Eric J. Shaffer, daughters, Samantha Nicole Shaffer and Savanna Rae Shaffer, son, Brent Belcher, two brothers, Nicholas and Troy Gravino, and a sister, Theresa Milletics. She also leaves two grandchildren, and many other family members who loved her and will miss her dearly.
A Memorial service to celebrate Cookie’s life will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Lung Association National Headquarters 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 800 Washington, DC 20004.
