Darlene Marie Rogers Curtin's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Darlene Marie Rogers Curtin on March 17, 2025. Her time with us was far too short, but her impact on the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
Darlene was born on Tuesday September 23, 1975 in Falls Church, VA and remained in the Northern Virginia area for her entire life. She was known for her vibrant presence and strong love for life, her family, and her “village.” She had a gift for building connections and bringing warmth and energy to everyone she met.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Will Curtin, her four children Kayla Drinkuth (Greg Yu), Kameron Drinkuth (Hayley Twyman), Sydney Rogers (Brandon Do), Tyler Curtin, her four grandchildren Kamden Drinkuth, Kailyn Drinkuth, Ella Drinkuth and Kaesen Drinkuth, her siblings Michelle (“Myshell”) Maley, Corey Brown, Becca Cribbes and their respective families, her father Kenneth D. Brown, and her brother-in-law Paul Curtin and his family. She is now reunited with her mother Donna Brown, her biological father Paul Maley, her brother Matthew Maley, and her in-laws, Richard Curtin and Carolyn Curtin who passed before her. Her absence is deeply felt, but her love and memories will always remain with those who knew her.
Her absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A service to honor Darlene will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26th 2025, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the funeral from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
Rest easy, Darlene. You are loved, and you will be missed beyond measure.
