David Richard Alcott's Obituary
DAVID RICHARD ALCOTT, 78, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Leesburg, Virginia.
David was born on Monday, September 27, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the third child born to the late Charles and Ruth Alcott of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania.
David is survived by his loving wife, Karen Alcott (Workman) of Leesburg, Daughter, Angela Alcott and husband Rod of Martinsburg WV, his three grandchildren; Brittany (Joe) Murphy of Inwood WV, Jeremy (Kathleen) Williams of Charles Town WV and Jason (Alicia) Woods of Ashburn VA as well as his seven great- grandchildren; Christian, Roman, Teagan and Ellie Murphy and Jackson, Taylor and Matthew Williams. He was predeceased by his brother William Alcott and sister Hazel Gilberti.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in memory of David to St. Jude or the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
