David F Ansah's Obituary
Mr. David “Kwasi” Frimpong Ansah, of Apirede, Ghana and Ashburn, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2021. He is survived by a son, Kwabena Ansah, his former spouse Mary Ansah, and several siblings: Philomena Amoako (Virginia), Grace Kabutey (Canada), Emmanuel Ofori Ansah, Mary Arku and Patience Ansah (Ghana), five other siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Apirede, Ghana in 1953, David attended Okuapeman Secondary School in Ghana. He moved to the United States in 1975 and obtained a bachelor's degree from Catholic University, in Washington, D.C and a master’s degree from George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia. David had a diverse career. He spent the longest part of his career with Enterprise.
David, or Kwasi or “Uncle T” as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, will be remembered for his love for Ghana and his hometown, Apirede. He will also be remembered for his deep love for his son, his zest for life, his infectious laughter and love for his family.
Kwasi will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
