David "Davy" Lowen Carr's Obituary
DAVID “Davy” LOWEN CARR, 78 of Honea Path, South Carolina passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Sunday, March 17, 1946, he was the son of the late Clifford P. Carr and the late Helen Douds Carr. Davy graduated from Madison High School in 1964 and Ohio State University in 1968. Davy served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1972. He worked at Union Carbide/Kemet/Dow for over 30 years, retiring in 2007 as a production manager for capacitor manufacturing. He will be remembered for his love for the outdoors, his kind and humble manner, and subtle but hilarious sense of humor.
Davy leaves many who cherish his memory including sisters Corinne Dye and Linda Judson, brother-in-law Robert Dye and nephews, Brian Love, Jimmy and Paul Dye
