David Frederick Felker's Obituary
David Frederick Felker, age 60, of Ashburn, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born July 21, 1956 in Pennsylvania David was an official with the Cardinal Basketball Officials Association and a lifelong Pittsburgh sports fan. He brought such enthusiasm and joy to our family gatherings and loved to tease and “stir the pot” for laughs. He was fiercely devoted, loved large and was the first one there to share in our celebrations and our sorrows.
David is predeceased by his parents, Earl "Buck" Felker and Andrea (Couse) Anderson, and his grandson Zachary Reid. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Heilman) Felker, daughter Bethany (Chris) Arnold, son Bradley (Theresa) Reid, three brothers: John, William and Timothy Felker, grandchildren: Kevin Andrews, Jessica and Alex Lord, Mackenzie (Joshua) Schoellen, Lucas Reid, Rachel and Jackson Arnold, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of beloved extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, with service immediately following, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. Private interment.
