I always thought of Dave as an "old soul," that there was a kindness within that went beyond his age. Always kind, and always funny. SO funny. I think anyone who knew him could point to several memories of his brand of humor.
My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to his family, and to we, his friends. Safe journey, Captain Caveman, you are sorely missed.
