David Kostrubanic's Obituary
David L. Kostrubanic, 63 of Leesburg, VA, died on Sunday, February 8, 2009, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA.
Born on October 10, 1945 in Cleveland, OH. A son of the late John Kostrubanic and the late Anna S. Kostrubanic.
Dave served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Federal Express as a district manager for Aircraft Maintenance. He currently was employed with ADC as a Background Investigator.
Dave was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of the Corvette Club of Frederick, MD and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving is his wife Nancy of Leesburg; daughters, Laurel Becker of Raleigh, NC and Dr. Kim Freeman of Leesburg, VA, his step- daughters, Karin Lewis of Stephen City, VA, and Michelle Perry of Leesburg, VA. brothers, John Kostrubanic of Fairview, PA, George Kostrubanic of Meadeville, PA and Donald Kostrubanic of N. Huntington, PA; three grandchildren and his best friend Milo.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 from 6 to 9 pm and from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm on Wednesday, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA
A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church located at 101 Oak Crest Manor Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 in Quantico National Cemetery.
