David Lee White Sr.'s Obituary
David Lee White, Sr. 75 of Leesburg, Virginia died on Monday, January 21, 2013.
David was born Sunday, June 6, 1937 in Winchester, Virginia. Son of Strother Taylor White and Alice (Gillie) White. David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert White. David grew up in Middleburg, VA. He was a graduate of Loudoun County High School and served his country in the National Guard. He was employed by Safeway for over 30 years as the Assistant Manager. He also worked for the Village Market in Purcellville, VA. In recent years, he worked for Heritage High School.
He was a member of Cornerstone Chapel.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Cecile Jeanne White of Leesburg; six sons, Gene Mills & wife Cheryl of Leesburg, VA, Tab White & wife Angie of Winchester, VA, Rick White & wife Jessica of Winchester, VA, Allen Mills of Leesburg, VA, David Lee White, Jr. & wife Heather of Hamilton, VA and Wesley White & fiancée Kelly Wenner of Brunswick, MD and 17 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Susan Hottle and brother in law Johnny of Aldie, VA, and sister-in-law Jan White of Aldie.
A Funeral service was held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
The family received friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter 39820 Charles Town Mail Stop #66 Waterford, VA 20197.
