Deborah Sanbower's Obituary
DEB0RAH JEAN SANBOWER, 53, devoted Wife, Daughter, Mother and Grandmother of Lovettsville, Virginia since 1977 died after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 17th 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sanbower was born April 3rd 1957 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She worked with Loudoun County Parks and Recreation in Lovettsville and then Lucketts before retiring in 2002. Her father, Harold Stambaugh, Sr. and a son Tim Sanbower predeceased her.
Mrs. Sanbower is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Donald L. Sanbower of Lovettsville; her mother: Barbara Green and husband Bob of Union Bridge, Maryland; two sons: Jeff Sanbower and significant other Shayna of Harpers Ferry, WV, Justin Sanbower of Lovettsville; two daughters: Kristin Bodmer and husband Josh of Brunswick, MD, Erin Spinks and husband Nathan of Harpers Ferry; two beloved grandkids: Kyleigh Sanbower and Cody Bodmer; Five siblings: Robin Wings, Cathy Whitmore, Kim Coomler, Lori Souders, H. David Stambaugh, Jr., numerous brother and sister in laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Brown/Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 34 East Broad Way in Lovettsville from 6-8pm on Wednesday, July 21st 2010. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, July 22nd at New Jerusalum Lutheran Church, 12942 Lutheran Church Rd., Lovettsville, Va., at 11:00am with Pastor Roland England officiating. Interment will be in Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
