Debra Jean Morgan's Obituary
Debra Jean Morgan, 72, of Ashburn VA, passed away on August 22, 2024, at Inova Mount Vernon Specialty Care Hospital in Alexandria, VA, following an unexpected and lengthy Illness.
Debra was born and raised in Ocala, FL to the late Henry L. Williams and Vivian G. Bernard.
She is survived by her children, Ferrante Leath, CheRie Leath, and grandchild Danita Twiggs, all of Ashburn VA; Siblings Lillian L. Gunning (Allen) Brunswick GA, Henry G. Williams (Victoria) PA, Jimmy L. Perkins (May Catherine) Ocala FL, Thomasina D. Murphy (Bill) Jacksonville FL, Keith T. Williams (Angie) Jacksonville FL, Kerry R. Bernard (Tasha) Land O' Lakes FL, Kenneth L. Bernard NJ, Catherine L. White Jacksonville FL, David G. Cooper Jacksonville FL, Terrance A. Williams Jacksonville FL, Kertina D. Small Chattahoochee FL, Charles B. Bernard Midway FL, Stedman H. Williams Jacksonville FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends Rosa M. Green and Paulette E. Croskey of Ocala FL, and many friends and coworkers.
Since moving to VA in 2006, Debra met and knew people everywhere she went-there was no store or shop she frequented where she wouldn't bump into someone she knew. Debra also had a passion for cooking and creating supreme meals in no time. This Chef Extraordinaire cooked in three hours' time what took most all day and she became affectionately known as "Ms. Debbie" to all who knew her, including her supportive work family at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA.
Debra loved the Lord and served Him faithfully. She was an avid lover of gospel music, church, family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten.
