Dennis Pimental's Obituary
Dennis Pimental, 77, formerly of Springfield, MA died March 15 in Leesburg, VA. Mr. Pimental was the son of Mildred and Diniz Pimental and was a native of New Bedford, MA. He joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and was stationed at Westover AFB in Chicopee, MA and U-Tapoa AFB in Thailand. Dennis worked as a Crew Chief on B52 aircraft and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was employed as a lineman for 38 years with Eversources retiring in 2010. Dennis was a volunteer radio operator with the Emergency Operations Center in Springfield which he really Enjoyed. He also volunteered as a vessel examiner with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Amateur radio was also an activity Dennis enjoyed, using his call sign KBHEM.
He leaves his beloved wife of 39 years, Judi. He also leaves his son, Nicholas Lukiwsky and his wife Kim and their four children, Molly, Aidan, Nicholas and Leila. He also leaves his daughter, Elisa Reinhardt and her husband John and their three children, Ethan, Josh, and Auror. He also leaves his brother-in-law Thomas Quatrone and partner Mary Blauvelt. He also leaves many friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donatons can be made in Dennis’s honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ASPCA.
