Diane Veronica Grumbach's Obituary
Diane Veronica Grumbach of Leesburg, VA, was born to Andrew and Violet Hornak on June 11, 1952, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She grew up in Stratford, CT, where she graduated from high school.
In 1978, Diane met Steve Grumbach, and they married on April 7, 1979. During their 46 years of marriage, Diane embraced the roles of a homemaker and, most importantly, a dedicated and loving mother.
Diane was a beautiful, caring, loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and wife. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her son, James, and wife Leslie of Reston, VA; her grandchildren, Nathan and Jack Grumbach; her youngest son, Bryant, and her daughter-in-law, Lena of Virginia Beach, VA.
A service to celebrate Diane's life was held on May 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Leesburg Union Cemetery.
Deacon Anthony Renzette of Saint Theresa Catholic Church provided a gravesite blessing.
Diane’s kindness, love, thoughtfulness, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed.
