Diane Mitchell Schemm 84 a resident of Ashburn/Sterlilng, VA went to be with the lord on October 15, 2023.
Born October 15, 1939, in Washington D.C. to the late Geraldine & A. Stuart Mitchell. Survived by 2 sons, Gerald S. Schemm & Kevin M. Keatts of Ashburn, VA. Sister, Gloria M. Beaudry of Naples, FL. Many cousins, relatives, & friends.
Diane grew up in Chevy Chase, MD. attended BCC High School & NOVA Community College.
She worked for Fortune 500 Companies in the D.C. area, returning to Loudoun Memorial Hospital for 14 years. Her interests were varied to include, service to many, animal concerns, women's rights, volunteering, gardening, cooking, philanthropy, walking & playing with her faithful beagle girl, Allie. A caring, loving, woman of strength, having overcome many health obstacles, she still kept on. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to no kill animal shelters in Loudoun County, VA.
