Diane Cannon Wagner's Obituary
Mrs. Diane Cannon Wagner, 69 of Leesburg, VA died on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Saturday, July 13, 1940 in Brunswick, MD. She was a daughter of the late Charles Cannon and the late Mildred Brown Cannon.
Mrs. Wagner was a graduate of Brunswick High School in 1958. She retired form C&P Telephone Company in 1992 after 35 years. She was a member of Purcellville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George A. “Buddy” Wagner.
Also surviving is her son, Mr. George A. "J.R." Wagner and daughter-in-law: Tammy, of Leesburg, her brother, Charles Cannon &(Frances) of Lovettsville, VA, sisters, Rita & (Joe) Anderson of Frederick, MD and Lorraine & (Walter) Morries of Baltimore, MD; 2 grand children, Jay Allen Wagner and April L. Stanley; and 5 great grand children.
The family will receive friends from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA, with Dr. David Janney officiating.
Those who wish to attend should meet at the funeral home at 2 pm and process to the cemetery.
