Dolores Joan Plant's Obituary
Dolores Joan Plant, 86, of Sterling, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Sunrise at Countryside.
Daughter of the late Ralph and Rose (Castellano) Ciullo, she was born on Saturday, January 24, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York.
Dolores began her teaching career with the Loudoun County Public Schools at Broad Run High School in 1972 and never retired, seldom missing a day until her final illness. She was beloved by colleagues and students alike.
She is survived by her son, Craig Allen Plant of Sterling, Virginia, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William A. Plant, as well as by her brothers Ralph, Ray and George Ciullo and sisters Helen Lombardi, Rose Verderosa and Ann Gallo.
A Service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA 20175. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services. The service will be followed by a light luncheon.
