Dolores Mildred Orrison's Obituary
DOLORES MILDRED ORRISON, 82, longtime resident of Leesburg, Virginia died at home with her family by her side on Monday, December 20, 2010. Mrs. Orrison was born February 10, 1928 in Winchester, Virginia to the late Clyde Vernon and Hilda Whitacre. A grandson also predeceased her. She graduated from nursing school in 1951 and worked with Loudoun Hospital as a LPN until retiring in 1990. Mrs. Orrison loved sewing, crafts, traveling, camping and above all shopping.
Mrs. Orrison is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, John Franklin Orrison of Leesburg; three children: Nancy Orrison Stephenson (Ronald) of Chesterfield, Virginia, John Franklin “Jackie” Orrison, II (Teresa) of Stephens City, Virginia, Sheri Lyn Page (Scott) of Leesburg; a sister: Wanda Gillmore of Corpus Christi, Texas, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 7-9pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Hamilton Baptist Church, 16 East Colonial Hwy., Hamilton, VA with Rev. Tim White officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg.
