Don is a special brother in Christ and an inspiration to his church family. He shared some great stories of his life experiences, trials, and faith that inspire and encourage us to lean not on our own understanding but always trust God. Your love for Christ and the wisdom you shared with all of us, not only about the Bible but also about life, will never be forgotten. Don - you have left us, but only temporarily. Don was, and is, an abosolute inspiration to me. Always willing to help others, thoughtful and generous with his most precious resource, time. A steadfast believer in Christ, he shared the Good News of Salvation, by Grace alone, through through faith alone, in Christ alone. Don lifted up others and shared his faith unselfishly. Shannon - We have so many fond memories of you and Don from USL Alumni Crawfish Boils where he was our head taster for many years. The annual Crawfish Boils and Gumbos where we gathered were always a good time for friendship and we had such great fellowship among our small core group. We will never forget his infectious smile, boisterous laugh, and sense of humor.
