Donna B. Loy's Obituary
Donna B. Loy, 75, of Lovettsville, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Emil Otto Christophersen and the late Lucille Pearl Bumsted. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Harry Loy who died on October 24, 2010.
She was born in Mapleton, Iowa and has been a long time resident of Lovettsville. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist church in Taylorstown for the past 20 years.
She is survived by her children Barbara Reardon and her husband, Pat of Estherville, Iowa, Bruce Loy and his wife, Leslie of Lovettsville, Virginia, Bonnie Hutton and her husband, Danny of Winchester, Virginia, and Peggy Graham and her husband, Jim of Hamilton, Virginia; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchild; and sister-in-laws, Betty Thompkins and Mary Roberson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Taylorstown with Pastor Elfie McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
