Doris Frances Fleming's Obituary
DORIS FRANCES “Fran” FLEMING, 91 of Orange, Virginia, formerly of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Orange, Virginia. She was born October 13, 1933 in Poolesville, Maryland to the late Paul R. Pearson and Hattie Louise Pearson. She was the beloved wife of Robert M. FLEMING.
After graduating school in Maryland, she moved to the farm where her parents and siblings lived just south of Leesburg. There she met her late husband Robert, married and raised two boys, then started her career as a manager of Quick Stop gas stations and mini marts. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the fullest, leaving behind many fond memories. She also loved working in her yard and flower gardens. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Aubrey and Gene Pearson, her husband of over fifty years, Robert M. Fleming, and a son, R. Perry Fleming, all of Leesburg.
Fran is survived by her loving family including her son Keith Fleming and daughter in law Candice Fleming, grandson Zachery Fleming (Katelyn), granddaughter Brooke Carr (Justin), great grandchildren Jameson, Aubrey and Adelyn, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 8, 2025 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175, with the service immediately following beginning at 12:00 PM. Fran will be laid to rest next to her husband and son at Leesburg Union Cemetery, 323 North King Street, Leesburg, VA 20176.
