Dorothy Catherine Mullen's Obituary
DOROTHY CATHERINE MULLEN, 82 of Ashburn, Virginia passed on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in Ashburn, Virginia.
Born Wednesday, May 27, 1942, in Astoria, New York, she was the only daughter of the late Detective Harold Jacob, LODD New York City Police Department and Dorothy Jacob.
Dorothy leaves many to cherish her memory including her son, Richard Mullen (Heather), daughters, Allison Mullen, Donna Mullen, and Meredith McCarthy (John), her beloved grandchildren, Devon, Tara, Jack, Kate, and Maddie, brother, Jay Jacob, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Buddy Jacob, Bobby Jacob, and Jackie Jacob.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, Virginia.
A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday April 11, 2025, at St. Theresa Catholic Church located at 21371 St. Theresa Lane Ashburn, Virginia 20147. Interment will be at Saint John Catholic Church Cemetery; date to be determined.
