Dorothy Louise Head Boggs' Obituary
Dorothy Louise Boggs, 87 of Sterling, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Johnson Center at Falcon’s Landing in Sterling, Virginia.
She was born on November 26, 1922 in Nashville, Tennessee, youngest daughter of the late Aubrey Head and Helen Cobb Head. The wife of the late Col. William Miller Boggs (Army), she was an accomplished musician and artist. Dot’s eye for beauty, her determination and sense of humor will be missed.
Surviving are son, Ronald H. Boggs of Fairfax Station, VA, daughters, Sheryl D. Daniel of Shoreline, WA and Starr C. Potts of Ashford, CT; grandchildren: Jeremy Potts, Vanessa Daniel, Nicholas Boggs and Colleen Boggs; 2 great grand children, and other nieces, nephews, cousins, including Mintzer family, and friends.
A graveside funeral service and interment will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Arlington National Cemetery. Those who wish to attend should meet at the administration building by 9:30a.m.
