Douglas Anthony Payne's Obituary
Douglas Anthony Payne, 57, of Ashburn, Virginia passed unexpectedly on Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Frostburg, MD.
Doug was born Saturday, December 31, 1955 in Washington, DC. He was the son of the late Daniel Payne and Evelyn Long Payne.
He worked for Telos in Ashburn, VA for eleven years. He also worked as a much loved bus driver with Loudoun County Public Schools for the past seven years, where he touched many lives. Doug also coached baseball for twelve years where he helped make an impact on a lot of adolescent’s lives.
Doug was kind and caring to all animals. Doug was a magnificent designer and builder. He left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path; he had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel at home. Doug was truly unique, and will always be in everyone’s heart.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Barbara Payne, his son Chris Payne both of Ashburn, VA, his mom, Evelyn Long Payne of Falls Church, VA, sisters, Ellen Lamb and Bonnie Everett, and brother, David Payne and his three Goddaughters, Jennifer, Michelle, and Katie Clohan.
A memorial celebration of his life reception will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm at the Westpark Golf Club at 59 Clubhouse Drive, Leesburg, VA 20175.
