Doug is my first very best friend and life long neighbor. We along with my sister Patti, his two brothers, Bryan and Rob. Kenny and Billy rounded out our Stuart Avenue Gang. We played all together all the time.
We grew up together and shared our life and school experiences. The joy and happiness of meeting our loves, our engagements, our weddings, our children and now our grandchildren. We also shared the sadness and devastation of the death of our parents because they were all our parents. We were a village.
Doug's death has hit very hard. Rest in Peace my friend. You will be so missed.
Mary, Ken, Beth, Avy, Brian, Rob and families, this hurts. My heart is truly broken. I hope you find comfort in knowing how loved Doug and all of you are and the memories legacy he leaves behind. We definitely need to get together and share our ( and I say this in the most loving way),"Doug is so weird" stories!
