Douglas Allen Dean's Obituary
DOUGLAS ALLEN DEAN, 59, of Sterling, VA, died on Wednesday March 10, 2010 in Fair Oaks, Virginia. Mr. Dean was born June 8, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Frank Lee and Edith Louise Sanders Dean. He received his Bachelors Degree from Trevecca Nazarene College (University) in Nashville, TN. Mr. Dean worked with Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, VA for 27 years before retiring in December 2009. He was a true family man and a very talented and gifted singer that loved people. Mr. Dean was also an avid sports fan favoring the Florida Gators, Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Mr. Dean is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years: Rebecca Willis Dean of Sterling; two children: Michael and Molly Dean both of Sterling; an adopted daughter: Stephanie Williams of Sterling; a sister: Karen Dean Fry of Canton, OH, his mother and father-in- law, his brother and sister-in-laws and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 5 until 9pm and on Saturday, March 13, from 10am until time of services at 11:00am at the Leesburg Church of the Nazarene, 17667 Roxbury Hall Road, Leesburg, VA 20176. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
