Drewson "Drew" Eugene Gaskins' Obituary
Drewson Sinclair “Drew” Gaskins, 69, of Hillsboro, VA, died on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 at home. Drew was born on August 13, 1939 in Loudoun County, VA. Life long of Loudoun, he was a son of the late William David Gaskins and the late Maxine Emily Mallory. He served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Gaskins worked as a rental agent for over forty years for Avis at Dulles Airport.
He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Leesburg.
Drew was a man who enjoyed his home life, family and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife Bernadette Gaskins of Hillsboro, three children: Wayde Gaskins of Winchester, Spencer Gaskins of Hillsboro, and Angelique Gaskins of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by his two sisters: Augusta Jackson and Gloria Smith both of Leesburg; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of other cousins family and friends.
Mr. Gaskins was predeceased by a daughter Tracy Holmes in 1996 and his brother W. Randall Gaskins in 2006.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Inurnment will be held privately at a later date in Rock Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Drew’s memory to Kingdom Hall of Leesburg.
