Earl Divine Bramhall's Obituary
Earl Divine Bramhall, 84, of Lovettsville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born on May 14, 1933, he was the son of the late Charles Blanco and Ardith (Arnold) Bramhall. As a boy, he was raised by his grandmother Carrie Arnold and Uncle Alston Arnold on Short Hill Mountain.
Earl was a generous man, known for assisting the elderly in the Lovettsville area. He was a heroic man, often offering his support and time during tragic events. He worked for the telephone company for 44 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he served throughout Europe including Germany and France. He was a member of the American Legion Post 96 in Brunswick, MD.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosebud L. Bramhall; two children: Donna Grove (Jeff) and Earl DaWayne Bramhall (Christine); four grandchildren: Jill M. Davis (John), Joshua K. Bramhall, Christin N. Meyer (Marcus), and Carla Troutman; four great grandchildren: Christopher Neff, Lincoln Meyer, Charleigh Meyer, and Pippin “PK” Meyer; siblings: Russell Bramhall, Evelyn Virts, Dorothy Bramhall, and George Bramhall and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Alfred, Walter, and Phillip Bramhall.
Private services are being held for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior project (woundedwarriorproject.org/donate), to Alex’s Lemonade Stand (alexslemonade.org/donate), or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
