Mr. Earl Artius Dade, age 68 of Blacksburg, Virginia died on Saturday, February 23, 2013, in Arlington, Virginia.
Earl was born on April 3, 1944 in Washington, DC. He was a son of the late Ophelia Dade. He was also predeceased by his maternal grandmother Florence Wilkerson.
Earl lived in Loudoun and worked technician with Woodward Research Hazelton Laboratory in McLean, VA. He also worked as a porter with Golf of Reston, and later for the Madera School.
Earl leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Norma Dade (Leon Hogan) of Leesburg, VA and Carolyn Dade (Joseph Morris) of Leesburg, VA; his son Brian & Melanie Dade of Woodbridge, two brothers; Ronald Dade of Blacksburg, Maurice Dade of Leesburg, VA; his former wife Ada Dade of Leesburg, VA; 4 grandchildren: Jalisa, Keshia, Larisha, Andre all Dade, 1 great grandchild Doreon Dade; and special friends Carl Ceasar and Gladys Paige of Leesburg, VA.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The family will receive guests from 11 am until the service begins at 12 noon.
Interment will be held privately at a later date, Leesburg, VA.
