Edward H. Konchan's Obituary
EDWARD H. KONCHAN, 93, of Loudoun County, VA, formerly of Florida for 47 years; sadly, passed on July 19, 2022. Edward was born to two loving parents, the late Vincent Konchan, and Angela Martinc Konchan, on June 25, 1929, in Queens, NY.
Throughout his life, he served his community as a New York City police officer. Edward also served his country in the Korean war, while enlisted in the United States Army.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Vivian (Navarro) Konchan. As well as his daughter Christine (Konchan) Freeman and son in law David Freeman; two grandchildren, Leigh & (Rick) Cline, and Jessica Freeman, and two great grandchildren Drew and Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cir. SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
A mass will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at St. Francis de Sales Church, 37730 St Francis Ct, Purcellville, VA 20132.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
