Edward Taylor Roberts, affectionately known as Pete and the mayor of Loudoun Street was born on December 23, 1928 on Edwards Ferry Road in Leesburg, VA. He moved to Loudoun St when he was five and lived in the area known as Robert Read Obituary
Our office was at Market Station for several years, and Pete was a mainstay there. When our office moved, I enjoyed making stops back by Market Station always with the hope of seeing Pete (and Harvey and Bobby!) while there. He will be missed by all of us who found comfort in the "routine" of seeing him. My prayers are with his family and friends.

To the Roberts Family- A hero has fallen. He served his family well and his community. He was truly a good will ambassador and everyone who knew my Uncle Edward (Pete) Roberts was blessed. He will truly be missed, but we have so many great memories. He never met a stranger and he always took such great care when it came to others.
