Eileen Parkinson's Obituary
EILEEN PARKINSON, 88, a long time resident of Niagara Falls, NY before moving to Ashburn, VA in 1999 died on Thursday December 21, 2006 in Leesburg, VA.
She was born October 23, 1918 in Providence, RI to the late Cornelius and Loretta Lannon Carmody. Mrs. Parkinson received a pediatric nursing degree from the NY Foundling Hospital. She worked with the Niagara Falls Board of Education-Tax Office for 20 years before her retirement.
Mrs. Parkinson is survived by one son: Charles Parkinson of Buffalo NY; one daughter: Elaine Parkinson and husband Tom Grove of Leesburg, VA; one sister: Eleanor Markowski of Queens, NY; one brother: Cornelius Carmody of Sparta, NJ; three grandchildren: William and Kevin Parkinson both of Buffalo, NY, and Chris Grove of Leesburg, VA. Her husband John C. Parkinson and one son William Parkinson predeceased her.
Services and Interment will be private.
